Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works at ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter as well as occasionally hosting SportsNation. She began her career at ESPN in 2016. The daughter of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since her age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her get her first post as a producer assistant at Univision Miami at which time she assisted the production of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In the following years she was hired by she was hired by the CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. She relocated into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 in order to join the team of reporters at one of the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. She reported on stories related to migration and trafficking of drugs within both Texas as well as Mexico. The duties of anchoring on weather and sports was frequent requests. The girl was born on November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985, at Mexico City. She also has a sister. The family in 1992 relocated from Mexico and moved to Miami. The couple divorced shortly after and in 1995, she married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. She stayed there in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer, which was the time she received the chance to get a job. Antonietta was a senior high school student However, she had a very clear vision of her professional goals. She went to Mount Union University in order to find out if the school was suitable for her. She discovered that she enjoyed the university, and the university offered the major she wanted. After completing her high school studies, she was accepted into the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU in which she is a member. They had a very close connection. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be confident, and his love of journalism greatly influenced her and she in turn, was determined to fulfill his standards and never fail him.
